Victor Wu's Cape for Kids
Be a superhero with me!
Be a superhero with me!
Hello!
We’re unleashing our inner superheroes and fundraising for Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital! When we reach our goal, we’ll wear our cape all week during Capes for Kids week (March 1-8, 2024).
We’re doing this to help kids and youth with disabilities and complex medical needs access care that focuses on their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
As a bit about me, I am an occupational therapist in the LIFEspan Service at University Health Network - Toronto Rehab. The LIFEspan program was developed jointly by Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and UHN - Toronto Rehab to support youth and young adults with cerebral palsy and acquired brain injuries with their transition to adult services. I also have the privilege of collaborating with the Holland Bloorview Employment Pathways Team to bring their Employment Action Coaching program over to LIFEspan at UHN.
I have seen first-hand the amazing resources, programs, and opportunities that are developed for youth as a direct result of the generous donations to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, and I want to contribute to this as much as I can.
You can be a hero too by donating! Together, we will:
- Help kids with disabilities move, explore, play and heal through therapy, programs and services.
- Support transformative research that enhances care, develops assistive technologies and evaluates barriers that restrict the inclusion of children with disabilities.
- Create an accessible, inclusive, equitable and stigma-free world for kids and youth with disabilities.
Thank you for joining forces with us!
We help kids with disabilities smile, laugh, learn and heal!
